Just can't help how cute they are!

Here is our very happy Jacob smiling for the camera. It is so easy to get a smile out of him!

We also have a very smiley Claire. No, she isn't really that chubby, it is just that when she smiles her face expands!

These big blue eyes are irresistable.

And our smart girl is sitting up in her Bumbo and playing with her toy (and like babies do, inspecting it in her mouth).
 

A week in Cody

This is Hart Mountain from John and Vicki's back deck. We had beautiful sunsets every night! It's a fitting way to start the Cody vacation pictures!

We took pictures at John and Vicki's neighbors' home. We had a little bit of everything, crying babies, camera malfunctions. We were lucky to get at least 1 shot that looks okay!
And we got a few that didn't! This one is a 5-generation picture, with Geneva Caldwell (97) down to Toby Edwin (2 months).

The babies were matching and in good moods...

for some of the time! We even got to see that Breckin, just like his dad, is a sympathy crier! Here, Breckin is showing off the trick of the week, sucking his toes!

Blessing Day

We had many family members and even a few friends there for the blessings in the Jackson, Wyoming visitors ward. LOTS of babies. Thanks to all of you who were there.

1st time swimming

In Jackson, we decided we wanted to go for a swim and we wanted Claire and Jacob to join us. Jacob was the first in the pool... and quickly was the first out of the pool too. He preferred dry ground!Claire, on the other hand, loved the pool! Don't be fooled by her eyes being shut, she had a great time!
Jacob's strategy for not going back into the cold pool was to fall asleep as soon as he got dry. This is the little party animal not long after getting out.
We went swimming with Ashley (one of Dani's best friends), James (her husband), and their baby Daviny. Daviny had a great time in the pool, splashing and making happy baby sounds - so did James!

Hanging out

We continue our posting things that happened 3 weeks ago. We have so many pictures to share, we don't want to put them all on at once!

Aunt Bridget was concerned during the family reunion that Claire's hair did not look girly enough. Jared likes her to have crazy hair, and he'd been the one to dry Claire off after baths in Jackson. So, Bridget took matters into her own hands. A few minutes later, we got a cute, very girly hairstyle on Claire:Jacob, meanwhile, got to spend some time in the basement with the boys playing Axis and Allies. He was privy to a whole bunch of strategy-talk by the Allies, but was tight-lipped when the Axis tried to get him to talk! Good thing Tyler and Andrew weren't leading the Axis powers, or we'd be having to speak German or Japanese!
