We love having our oldest work with our youngest to teach the stories of the scriptures. They are very cute together.

Satan's Blood
A couple people at work have started bringing in hotter and hotter hot sauces. It started with Dave's Ghost Pepper sauce - 650,000 Scoville units - and was upped to Satan's Blood - 800,000 Scoville units!
They are SOOO hot!!! We put a single tine of a fork into the Satan's Blood, wipe it on a Chipotle burrito, and it makes the entire thing super spicy.
Fun ... and also painful ... but also really funny.

Fall festivities at Bauman's Farm
Bauman farms has EVERYTHING! Huge slides, zip lines, hay bale mazes, a dark maze, big tricycles, laser tag, animals, and much more.
Something new was laser tag!
We always love getting food - this time was loaded apple cider donuts! Yum! In the background was the jumping pillow - so entertaining!

Labor Day Weekend with the Schaffers
Jim and Jared went mountain biking - Bend is AMAZING for mountain biking!
We took family bike rides around the trails of Sunriver.
Dani did some relaxing in the hammock. Sunriver truly is beautiful!
We played some disc golf near the swim center and played in the park. Everything is a short bike ride away, so we biked everywhere.
We went for a Sunday family hike up to a lake
The kids all did so well hiking!
People soon got into the lake. It was chilly, but it was beautiful!
Torin enjoyed exploring around the logs near the lake.
What a fun place
There was lots of time for family and kid games in the cabin. We love that our kids all love spending time together.
Jared and Jim also went on a long road ride on the side of the highway.
We played some Tenzi - I love the picture of Torin's concentration and focus!
On Labor Day, we went for a tube ride and paddle board ride on the Deschutes river.
As always, it is Jared's happy place.
At the end of the float, there were some little rapids that we could go on over and over.
We would go on the rapids, pull the tube out, and do them again.
They may not look all that impressive...
but they were a lot of fun!
