We spent one day up at Glacier National Park. It is June, but it was sweatshirt weather there. It was overcast, so the grand vistas were not really visible on the Going to the Sun road. We drove up to the Logan Pass Visitor Center. One memory we have is a group of cyclists huddled next to the fire - it was a cold and damp ride for them!
We spent time at Lake McDonald. The next year, there were big fires here, so I'm sure it wouldn't look the same.
We took a short hike on the Trail of the Cedars. It was a short hike and pretty flat, but it was beautiful.
Afterward, we went across the road to the river and hiked around.
There were lots of rocks thrown
and a fun tree bridge to cross.
