Summer in the City

Girls baseball game night - Dani and the ladies got awesome tickets from Twila and enjoyed a night at the stadium, staying all the way for fireworks.

Jared got to see a riverboat race from his office - it was cool to watch!

A visit to Finley Market for Dani and the kids

Smale Park - the carousel, the flying pig - it's fun to go visit the park downtown.

Jared enjoys running downtown. Sometimes he runs across the river, up to UC, sometimes to the Museum Center.

It's humid ... but it's been a fun summer!!!

Fishing on our Cody Trip

The Sessions grandpa, Ed, took the younger kids fishing. Ed is one of the most patient and calming people I have ever met! The kids all really enjoyed being in his boat

and they were thrilled to reel in some fish.

 

They caught a lot of fish that day

even if Claire wasn't really in to holding it!

They strung the fish and cleaned them (skills their own dad definitely does not have)

Jared, meanwhile, enjoyed paddling!

 

Cody Trip

Jared took Jacob golfing at Cody's golf course.

It was a windy day. With the wind at his back and hitting at high altitude, Jared thought he would be able to launch a drive a mile! Which of course did not end up happening. 

But it was fun to be out playing together.

The adults had a nice steak dinner

We celebrated John and Vicki's 50th anniversary with some games.

We celebrated by playing games - like pooping potatoes! I think the skinny-legged Streeter boys were at a disadvantage!
