Around the house with friends and family

Family puzzle time - Claire has gotten pretty good at doing puzzles! Putting the finishing touches on a Harry Potter puzzle.

Claire made a leash for her little pig to take for a walk

Dani mowed the lawn! It has been a busy time for Jared, and he came home to a nicely-mowed lawn. Dani's first time!

Kate got a little cookie recipe book, and the kids all teamed up to make some peanut butter cookies.

So great when "Best Friend Tate" is right next door!

Liam's future - will be full of family! He's going to need to start liking girls (or at least A girl) sometime!

Kate took an art class with Lisa Jensen. They met weekly and did a number of cute projects.

We spent one Saturday afternoon at Alpenrose Dairy watching some midget racing and some youth baseball games.

The kids built a blanket fort and spent a lot of time just hanging out under it.

It isn't all that spacious, but they loved spending time all together, giggling, under there with flashlights, books, pillows, and stuffed animals.

Mother's Day feast - Jared prepared a hollandaise sauce to go on top of the steak with grilled asparagus. Yum! We all love Dani!

Torin put a bobby pin into an outlet - and it was so hot after it came out of the socket that it burned a permanent scar in the floor. He came saying that it hurt his hand - we were just glad it wasn't worse!

We love having a disc golf course close by in Memorial Park.

Spring time is great time for the trampoline. And we love what the trampoline does to Kate's hair!

It is also fun having friends join on the trampoline.

The little guy

We love our little 3-year-old. Torin is a joy and loves being with his parents and siblings.

Night-time stories in bed

In bed, Torin always has a stuffed animal that he cuddles with.

Reading books with Kate. Kate LOVES to read!

Piley face - Dani loves taking selfies with Torin, and Torin loves snuggling with Dani on the beanbag chair

Torin deciding to learn piano

Watching and waiting for his older siblings to come home

When he's sad, he definitely shows it - big-time pouty face!

Family Room project - Thanks Jessica!

Jessica and Dani (mostly Jessica) had the idea to refinish the corner fireplace with shiplap and painting the fireplace tiles white.

Looking good after it was done

And finally with decorations. Beautiful job!

Leavenworth with the Schaffers

The house was a lot of fun. We played games, sung with the fish on the wall, watched Greatest Showman, and just enjoyed each other's company.

We enjoyed a couple times heading into Leavenworth to explore the town.

The whole crew of kids in front of the Gingerbread Factory - a cute little cookie and sweets store

We took a little walk along the river through the Riverfront Park and along the Wenatchee River.

We were thrilled to enjoy a beautiful, sunny day alongside the river.

We brought the whole crew to the Munchen Haus to enjoy the best pretzels we've ever had

We went skiing at Stevens Pass. We had a beautiful day and scattered all over the mountain with lots of different levels of skiiers.

The beginner ski area was great. There were a number of different runs and magic carpet style lifts. One of the runs had a couple little banked turns which helped the kids turn a bit.

We love vacations with our friends the Schaffers

On our drive to Leavenworth, we stopped by the Stonehenge Memorial in Washington. We've driven by this a number of times as we have driven on I-84.

This was the first WWI memorial in the United States, constructed in 1918 as a memorial to the servicemen from Klickitat County, Washington.
