Jared wasn't able to spend the full week in Cincinnati, so after work, he found adventures in Oregon. He went for a couple evening paddles on the Willamette. This time of year, it is light past 9:00!
On the 4th of July, Jared decided to do a personal triathlon, starting at Stub Stewart State Park. Following the run, Jared went mountain biking. He made some friends to bike with. Let's say they were high on life, but maybe in a different way... but it was a lot of fun, and Jared went longer than planned since he wasn't alone (Dani's instructions... don't mountain bike alone!!!).
After the mountain biking, Jared went to Lake Oswego and did a few miles on the Willamette River. The river had quite a few boats on it, including one of the Jet boats from downtown. They cast some pretty wakes, but it was fun.
