Last year, the SID and Jensen Ohio River paddle involved starting at the Roebling Bridge, crossing the current and then fighting our way up river. We decided we are smart - so we would drive up river and paddle with the current.
We drove 4 miles up river and started down river. Unfortunately, we happened to pick a super windy day. So, while we may have been floating with the current, we were like sails going the other direction!
The river was pretty choppy, so we were on our knees much of the time. We passed by a big barge and a riverboat.
Jarom found the smoothest water after we pulled out of the river!
We enjoyed a good burger and long chat afterward. It is always so fun to get together with SID
