This was a year that Jared drove the family out to Cody and stayed the weekend before flying back to Portland to work for the week. Fortunately, he was there for a family photo!
Jared also got to go out to Buffalo Bill Reservoir for a day on the lake.
Jacob got up and skiied for a long while! He was so happy with himself!
Claire even got up for a bit. Liam got on top of the water but didn't quite stay up long enough to get a picture.
On shore, the kids were digging and building in the sand.
On the 4th of July, we went out to the parade in Powell.
The county fair was in town, and the kids and cousins all went for a few hours.
Trisha and Jan happened to be at church on Sunday, and it was fun to see them.
Grandpa John felt the sleeping vibes while Kaci was entertaining the kids.
The kids took a Buffalo Bill Dam tour with the Sessions cousins.

As usual, the kids spent hours and hours driving around the yard. The kids love spending time out there with their cousins and siblings.

Flying back into Portland can be an incredible approach as the sun is going down.
