Spring Break - Part 1 - Riding in Southern Utah

We planned what we hope will be a pretty epic spring break trip this year. Our goal was an all-outdoors trip, with skiing and hiking and other adventures, and we think we hit it perfectly! Our flight even took us over the picturesque Grand Canyon!

We flew into Las Vegas - Liam immediately exclaimed "They have VIDEO GAMES in this airport!" upon seeing all the slot machines. Gambling would be bad for that boy!

We drove to St. George where we rented UTVs and rode around Sand Hollow State Park. Sand Hollow was pretty open - we spent a while at the beginning of our time in riding up to the top of the hill and then riding all over the sand dunes.

We explored all over and had some beautiful vistas.

Kate and Claire didn't trust Jared's driving (they thought he would drive crazy), so they rode with Dani.

We rode around a number of different rock formations and explored.

Eventually we found a trail called "bobsled," which was a downhill, soft sand trail with banked turn after banked turn. We had recently watched Cool Runnings, so we were excitedly "Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme. Get on up, it's bobsled time!" We rode it twice!

It was an epic start to what turned out to be an epic vacation!
