Streeter Family Reunion - Burley

Burley Idaho ... kind of a funny location for a family reunion! But it checked all the boxes - it was on the river, had plenty of room, was driving distance from Cody, and was the right price!

The boat drivers were busy this week. There were lots of people who wanted to go tubing - and a couple who wanted to ski.

The cousins all had very different adventure levels.

Torin and Treycen had very calm (and short) rides.

Meanwhile, Jacob and Breckin wanted to be pushed to the very edge (and sometimes a little more than that!)

I'm not sure if Kate and Bentley even noticed that they were on the tube - they were just giggling the entire time! Okay, that's not quite true - they had some fun out there!

Liam doesn't have a male cousin his age, so he has to be creative with his tubing partners. He typically spent time with his older cousins.
Liam especially loved riding in the tube with Mana. When Mana and Liam get into the 2-person tube, there's only one direction the tube will tip over!

We had quite a few good ski days, especially in the mornings. A few days that were a little windier, but we all got good time behind the boat.

Jacob liked taking long ski runs - and playing a bit behind the boat!

There was also a lot of non-motorized time on the river. Jared especially spent a lot of time on the river on a paddleboard (no surprise).

Sometimes, as a way to get a little extra time, Jared would take little nephews and nieces out on paddleboard rides. It was just another excuse for him to be out on the paddleboard on the river!

We went for a lot of paddles out on the river, going up river, down river, across the river, and just around the dock.

There were also some kayaks that people would go out on

and a pedal boat that the kids mainly used (parents have figured out that pedal boats are actually a lot of work!).

One night we did tinfoil dinners and smores by the lake as the sun set.

One day, Jared and Jacob went and played some golf. It was fun to get out and play together. The course was pretty flat and open, but that was perfect for us!

As usual, Liam LOVED spending time with uncle Travis. They did a lot of fishing off the dock and in the river - sometimes all the way . Travis taught Liam how to put lures on the line and had to then find them tangled in the riverside trees! Liam caught quite a few throughout the course of the week!

When we were inside, there was a lot of game playing. One of the favorites was this little snake game that you would take gold from the rattle snake until the snake snaps at you. Kaci's reaction was especially funny the first time she did it and was completely startled!

There were LOTS of fun pictures throughout the week.

We wore our new family reunion t-shirts for a bunch of family pictures
