It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

We love getting ready for Christmas!  We got our kids new ornaments this year - Jacob got a Lego Storm Trooper and Claire got a books ornament.  Kate and Liam each got Mickey Mouse ornaments.  The new family ornaments are a covered wagon (commemorating our trip to Jackson Hole) and a new, beautiful (Radko!) gingerbread house ornament and a beautiful new nativity ornament from Nana.

We even got a picture where both Jacob and Claire were looking at the camera and smiling!

We decided to leave a number of our favorite and most fragile ornaments, including the new nativity and gingerbread house, off of the tree because of little 1-year-olds, but that unfortunately didn't help prevent 1 casualty during the decorating of the tree!  Fortunately, after a minor procedure, he's mostly back together.

We were happy with our tree this year - it wasn't the biggest tree we've had, but it was a good size and shape, and the ornaments look beautiful on it!

Kaci and Trav sent us some cute block letters -  we wondered for a minute where the "I" was for the word "believe," but we figured it out.

We have our stockings hung above the fireplace - we have to re-hang 2-3 of them almost every day because Liam likes the stockings.
