We discovered a cool fall event in Tualatin - the West Coast Great Pumpkin Regatta. They hollow out over a dozen half-ton pumpkins, put people in them, and then they paddle through the lake.
It was funny to see the huge gourds slowly make their way across the lake. We spent half of the time wondering if they would capsize or fill with lake water! There was even a team of "kayakers" from Australia!
